Chiffon Dawn!

Some outfits are just so easy to pair...chiffon tops/blouses being one of them. I love the loose fit as it has that chic, elegant and sophisticated look. Not too loose though...I mean you don't wanna look like 'hey, I just got this outfit from a pal'...I know it doesn't fit well but I really don't care!! You never say that when you're trying to be stylish....it's a NO NO! For one to be stylish, you for sure have to CARE.

If you love brooches, then it'll came in handy in this particular chiffon top. Especially if worn to the office...you don't wanna show off your 'girls' to everyone..

Another way to wear this chiffon top is to simply wear it with just a bra on but you must be a brave one to do this. Anyway whichever your preference...as long as you're comfortable. 

You can go for a sleeveless chiffon and wear a blazer on for an office look...simple yet elegant!

Just when you thought dressing up to the office is a nightmare like many of us do, you may want to try out this....before you go to bed you ensure that you've already picked an outfit for the next day to the office. This really works for me..at least I get all the time to stare at that mirror. Who doesn't love looking great, mmmh? Everyone loves to look dashing, right? so dress the part and save that early morning rush.

The White House ladies on a stylish streak!

She's stylish, she's elegant, she's gorgeous, she's a PROWESS!  I admire her sense of style...if given just a day, I would invade her wardrobe, take a couple of her outfits and feel like I own one of the luxurious high end shopping malls in the known posh designer stores that you've ever heard of!!

Well, Michelle Obama is behind all this praise I had to put in writing. She's on a fashion roll for sure!! Besides Kate Middleton's stylish outfits which of course means her wardrobe is to die for, Michelle Obama just killed it with her fashion statements recently during her Let Girls Learn initiative in London.

A glimpse of her outfits that I really loved and thought she really looked flawless in them were;

This playful yellow and pink skirt with a tucked in sleeveless top looked exceptionally great on Michelle..she looked chic and very elegant! Malia and Sasha too dressed the part. Guess it runs down the family...like Daughters like Mother and the vice versa is true.

The lucky designer for her look was, DURO OLOWU.

.......And later on, Michelle decided to throw a surprise baby shower party for the military Moms-to-be. With the help of Glam4Good organization, they teamed up with the first lady to surprise the expectant moms in Vincenza, Italy. The names that Italy has though, too posh!! 

Talk of fashion statements that were made by the three ladies...no doubt, they're on a stylish streak! The lucky designer for her lemony/blue dress was THORNTON BREGAZZI

A DONNA KARAN patterned A-line midi skirt was the business here. Simply chic and elegant, don't you think?

........Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. This CHRISTOPHER KANE black dress is the true definition of a sophisticated look. The floral detail in it just adds that chic look...that's all I can say!!

Y'all can tell from the glances Michelle is getting from the background..that knit dress by Italian fashion house, MISSONI is definitely something!! Clearly her tour was not only full of stop overs but also, some serious sense of style by the three ladies! And clearly, top designers seem to really tickle her fancy!!

Well, enjoy that cup of coffee, a quick snack and get to work....like a boss!! In life, at times you just have to go against the grain of doing things. If you were used to going to the office with non professional outfits, you could try changing your wardrobe with this professional, classy and trendy wears.

The color of this satin dress is to die for!! The tie and dye is just right, and looks amazing!

The choice of shoes depends on how you will block the colors, you could opt for Green, grey or mustard shoes to go with the dress. Or alternatively, you could be daring and wear a different color from the ones the dress has, as long as you do it right.

Sometimes being daring is unique. 'Elegance is good taste, plus a dash of daring'

Dress: Satin skirt

Color blocking is daring, and this two combination of colors is daring! But when paired well, it gives that dapper look!

Then my best thing is here, this purple leather coat. It's just too too gorgeous. You wear it and it brings out that Vavavoom look! one thing for sure is, one can never go wrong with trench coats. All you need to do is know your body type, length of the trench and color.

Silk-blend skirt.

With this in your wardrobe, you good to go...and by this I mean you can wear this to the office, to a function, shopping sprees name them.!

If you are to wear this to an office, pair it with a long sleeved blouse, and fully tack in the blouse, minimal accessories and some heels and you have that chic and office look!

If you are attending a function, say a wedding, you can wear a short sleeved top, more accessories, heels/flats and yeah you ready to sing along at that particular wedding.

If you are going shopping with the girls, or a partner, you can wear a tank top, hanging chains and to complete the look, wear flats for that easy look, yet classy!

Who doesn't want to look stylish and elegant even when the weather decides that it's rain rain rain and rain? I would do this, look stylish and elegant at all times, at least I try!! So lately this Nairobi weather decides it's going to rain, floods and floods and you feel like dressing up like someone who's going diving....so that just in case the floods shows up, you ready with your fins...swim away! or get a very high machine like the one I recently saw trending on social media!! 

Save yourself the struggle, be stylish with the knit sweaters....be stylish, trendy and look fab! 

What you need to do is ensure that the sweater is a loose fit for that official and classy look.

Knit sweater with lace detail is currently trending. Better grab yourself one!

Avoid the plain knit sweaters, rather go for something like this leather detailed knit sweater. It adds up that funky look.

Tell me, have you ever dressed up to go to the office and when you look at the mirror you see a different person? Okay, I will explain what I mean by a different person....you look at the mirror and you really look different, like very different. You look younger yet very mature and sophisticated.

The trick with such a dress is have one that's above the knee for that funk look otherwise a longer one might just make you look older than you really are.!
