A Notch above Classy...

It all started with this particular instagram photo.....it's been three days since this occurred but can't get over the fact that Michelle's gown was winning!

Michelle Obama simply knows her style...she decided to wear a Vera Wang gown for the China State Dinner held at the White House in Washington D.C. and the outcome was elegance wrapped in that gown!!

She definitely has a notch above classy. Her make-up was minimal and her hair was simply amazing!

The fall off shoulders and the sweetheart neck in  her gown did justice to her upper body. Simple yet very very elegant! 

The two looked classy for sure. But Michelle being a lady, she was definitely dapper!

........notice her simple gloss on her lips, no color yet so elegant! She honestly dressed the part and a plus for her for having worn a Vera Wang gown...she made the Chinese designer proud.. That's for sure!

This was one in a million posses that Obama portrayed this night....the goof was out of this world...like literally!

The color Black can never miss in someone's wardrobe. That I am so sure..back in the day we'd associate this color with death...someone's funeral. It's no longer the case..I have attended a wedding that the maids wore Black...I mean it all depends with how you pair it.

Silk Blend Blazer.

The blazer changes everything about this outfit. It's all black but since the blazer has some color, it changes the whole look!                                                                                                                                                

As they said, you can never go wrong with Black.

Jacquard Dress

The simplicity in this dress just wins.

Trying to keep it chic and classy? Then this particular dress is nothing but the best. 

I always believe that, The joy of dressing is an Art.!

Trend Alert: Pussy Bow Blouse

One thing for sure is, fashion is so unpredictable.

In the 80's the floppy bow blouse was the in thing!  It's now back but with a rather funny/weird name, I would say, "The Pussy Bow Blouse". Why it was called the Pussy, I have no idea.



Silk goes well with this trend. It kinda adds that touch of class to an outfit. The Pussy Bow Blouse looks perfect with a pencil bottom. It could be a pencil skirt, jeans...



..........it could also be tied up in different and unique knots. That's one thing I admire about this blouses. All you need to do is be creative!



If you are smart enough, you could always add up a scarf and make a knot to add up the bulkiness. 





You could also accessorize...it all depends with how well you can play around with your outfit.



...........and that's my style secret. Pussy bow blouses look even better when paired with a pencil bottom!!

Modern Classics

Style is primarily a matter of instinct..what you choose to wear at a given time really matters. But what I believe is, being classy deserves some effort when it comes to choosing what to and not to wear.

A short skirt above the knee makes a whole lot of difference here...the pockets too..the old school look. The blouse, effortlessly chic! I love the detail on the pockets. It adds up the class to it!

The good thing about this look is, it can be worn to the office! How cool? very cool, I must say.

If you thought polka is out of fashion, then you're in for a shock! It's so not going anywhere soon...but truth be told, there is always that awesomeness when it comes to POLKA!

Might be wondering, the hell? what is this? well, it's a crepe blazer and can be worn in so many ways...you can decide to throw in a statement belt, or wear a long sleeved  in, it all depends on you. 

Leather pants are back and it's all about picking the right style for different bodies..this particular one is so chic...the bow, oh my!

Never forget, People will stare, make it worth their while.

Chiffon Dawn!

Some outfits are just so easy to pair...chiffon tops/blouses being one of them. I love the loose fit as it has that chic, elegant and sophisticated look. Not too loose though...I mean you don't wanna look like 'hey, I just got this outfit from a pal'...I know it doesn't fit well but I really don't care!! You never say that when you're trying to be stylish....it's a NO NO! For one to be stylish, you for sure have to CARE.

If you love brooches, then it'll came in handy in this particular chiffon top. Especially if worn to the office...you don't wanna show off your 'girls' to everyone..

Another way to wear this chiffon top is to simply wear it with just a bra on but you must be a brave one to do this. Anyway whichever your preference...as long as you're comfortable. 

You can go for a sleeveless chiffon and wear a blazer on for an office look...simple yet elegant!

Just when you thought dressing up to the office is a nightmare like many of us do, you may want to try out this....before you go to bed you ensure that you've already picked an outfit for the next day to the office. This really works for me..at least I get all the time to stare at that mirror. Who doesn't love looking great, mmmh? Everyone loves to look dashing, right? so dress the part and save that early morning rush.

Let me introduce to you my favorite outfits and trust you me, you can never go wrong with JUMPSUITS. All you need to do is pair it with those killer heels..I like to say, #shoepornlove. The heels automatically gives you that confidence. The higher the better. It's more about an attitude. High heels empower women in away ~ Christian Louboutin.
