# What's your Fashion Personality?

Everyone loves to look good in one way or another....

......let's talk about fashion personalities.

Just how well do you know your category when it comes to fashion? of course not everyone is classy as everyone would say if asked right? Okay, okay so let's talk about this personalities....

1. Classy

When you say you're classy what do you really mean? or do you just say am classy and yeah yeah that's it? is it because you use a wine glass instead of a long glass while out there? is it because you're wearing 6 inch heels and can dance your ass out the whole night without having to get a pair of flats?

So when we talk of classy, think of the colors red, navy, beige, black....but for that chic look, I would always go for red. Red just stands out!...Keep it classy, never trashy, just a little nasty!

2. Elegant

When you say elegant you think of expensive designers right? which is true...but it shouldn't be confused with Couture! I will explain what this means..hold your horses!

So when you think elegant...think of the unusual colors...grey maybe! not complicated though...

3. Couture

Other people would say Haute Couture...doesn't really matter. 

When you talk of Couture, think of the unusual and rare...(if you happen to watch the fashion tv am sure you'll have a clue what this means...it could be different pieces or just one piece of cloth.

Couture is unusual, rare and one-of-a-kind designs that one can think of and pair them up and still look chic!

Very tricky though...especially if you have no idea of fabrics. 

4.Glamours/Bombshell

It's just being glam...hahaha. A person with good looks will pass for this personality....no brainer!

Think of Jerseylicious reality show on E...(Olivia being my favorite). 

5. Casual/Sporty

This a look that anyone can look good in...so relaxing and easy to pair up...but if you don't know what fashion is, then am sorry you will be so so out....

Talk of denim which is the in thing right now....denim pants, shirts, shoes...I wonder what next....knickers maybe, denim? (watch out..that will be the next denim). Hoddies too will pass for this personality.

Think of any color...bright colors or earth tone colors...

6. Sophisticated

The name itself...Sophisticated tells it all. This is so lady like, oh yeah, yeah...think of that jam...Miss Independent...can you picture Kelly Clarkson ...that was a sophisticated personality.

7. Trendy

If you're into fashion, then am sure you are also a trendy person...you know what's the in thing, how to rock it...but hey I don't mean when you're into trends you should have those pieces paired up at once...(am sure you getting confused...). 

Let me explain...what I mean is for example, Chiffon is the in thing....then you pair it with a denim jacket, then you have your ankara trouser, your "kiondoo" and you expect to look trendy?No way...you will end up in fashion cops thingy...thank God Joan Rivers didn't see that.

8. Dramatic

When you say dramatic, think BLACK! It's the best way to achieve this. The color gives that chic look, sexy, catchy and confident! An example is the black lip...yes this is dramatic but if done well, it will stand out. Just a tip of how to achieve this look, do you have a black jumpsuit? if yes, thumbs up! Rock it girl!

9. Eccentric

I think of Rihanna....Nicki Minaj ....Lady Gaga....Miley Cyrus...reason being, they're all risk-takers, fun, wild and unique!

The other day, Rihanna wore her 'Naked dress' by Adam Selman to the CFDA awards 2014...shocker but by now we used to her anyway....it's just her style! she's just so brave and a risk-taker...

10. Grunge

Think of Cyndi Lauper, Madonna...they really emphasized on this look...it could be anything you wear and an example is, the turn ups...it's so back.(Today my trouser has actually been turned up). That was a thing of the 80's remember!

So am sure you all have a slight idea of where you fall when it comes to fashion personalities...next time you're asked what's your personality, please don't say GIRLY..

Hey you people!

Am sure ya'll are wondering what happened to this blogger...mmmm am sure I will see all those hands up if am to ask how many people were wondering what happened...right? But I won't ask because that will be a rhetoric question....

I would say the same old thing....Kendy has been busy busy busy but not to worry....trying out something and am sure once it's all done all you will give me credit!(smiles and hides*)

But that does not mean I won't be blogging....once in a while before I get things right! Am sure all you are curious to know what am trying to do right?Am not going to answer that....not just now.

I love to be comfy when going to the salon and so, I decided to wear the sport shoes...so so so comfy!you can imagine being in a salon with heels??by the time you are done with the salon you will be so so beat...like your bum...then shoes are high aarghh not worth!(I love heels but I don't wear them every wear I go). But if it's to a classy place mmmm

One thing I have always learnt is;

 The weekend was over...and Monday came...this is how I dressed. Monday is always a dull day so I decided to wear a bright outfit. Take a look....

My accessory was only a pair of gold pearl earrings...one of my favorites!

I must admit that lately I have not been blogging and I feel that I have really disappointed my avid readers. But you know what, not to worry beautiful people.

I'll explain...

I have been so busy lately and of course doing some serious research on style and fashion tips for every body size...

.....why body size?

This is because, body size will determine which outfits one can look good in and which ones are just not for certain body sizes.I don't wanna be mean and just have pictures of me....(this won't be fair right?) of course YES! So what I will do is I will make sure ya'll enjoy reading this blog and get the tips of style and fashion.

That said...

How do I get this done?

Simple....*hands down*

Give tips for all body sizes and have pictures of the outfits...

What's funny is, TOO MANY PEOPLE make this same mistake.....

When I say 'people' I mean the bloggers (I being one of them)..but I will try to make sure that I get other people to model some of the outfits...not an easy thing I will say!


What I mean is, I shouldn't just have me featured in all the updates...I should also have different people in it....different body sizes and yeahhh all the other differences when it comes to body size.Not to worry dear fans...I will not disappoint...but before we get there, hope all you will appreciate what I do when it comes to style and fashion...(now give me that smiley face).

Importance of TLC's...(you will thank me later)

Beautiful people it's one day to the long holiday...Easter holiday and just an advice...please don't drink and drive. Instead get a designated driver and avoid the alcoblow thingy!(it's a nightmare I tell you!!!)

Am listening to some serious old school hits and it's really driving me nuts...it actually brings the weekend closer....what!

A way from the jams and  safe driving....I wanna talk about style. Am sure by now every avid reader of this blog knows what Kendy does best right?(I blog and give tips on fashion and style).

Today am super excited and rejuvenated! Dunno why but I just feel wow....could it be this song that am listening to...'Gorilla' by Bruno Mars, or it's just today that am in that feel good mood? Too many questions, one true answer....

Let's get to serious business...how often do you go for those manicures and pedicures? let's be honest here...are you the kinda person who only goes for this TLC's when you have an occasion like a wedding and it happens that you are one of the maids? it actually happens doesn't it? YES it does.
Beauty and style are related in a way so allow me to also share some of this beauty tips for one to look stylish and elegant.Do the manicures and pedicures more often if you are the type of person who loves to procrastinate....you say 'aah will go do my nails next week or ahh they still look good....'.Make it a routine, especially if you love to wear open shoes or the peep toes. When your nails are well done, then it compliments you.!

It's very easy to maintain fashion but very hard to maintain style. Fashions fade but style is eternal....

—Sophia Loren. This is the quote that has kept me going when it comes to style. Do you know why I say fashion is easy to maintain? just hold on and I will answer that. Style on the other hand is all about an individual and the creativity. So, back to fashion, one can posses all the latest trends when it comes to outfits but very hard to look all glam (am sure you know what I mean...like look really nice!). You can get yourself a very expensive outfit but you don't know how to rock it....it's just because you saw your girlfriend with it and you think hell no...am also buying that outfit. You forget that outfits should compliment a persons character....yeah yeah this is so true.

I will give you an example. This multicolored trousers, men...it's just all over town..maybe because it's cheap I don't know but what...it's just too too much....I stopped wearing mine!and this was reason why I stopped wearing it....

All about shoes..

I have this thing for high heels and no matter what, it's always my number one ''check''..when going somewhere!

Christian Louboutin is one of my favorite I would say...he is known for the 'red sole'. His shoes are  to die for.(But of course not all my shoes are louboutin....if I decided to do that, then HE will be broke!) Once in a while...yeah it's allowed to get a surprise gift.

My next shoe...so you know (can't wait to own them). Am sure ya'll know it's like an investment getting the original louboutin...it also look like a 'good weapon'...(I think so)

This pigalle spike shoe is to die for what! It's so cool and you can rock it with any outfit....ever heard of this phrase, "Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world.'' - Marilyn Monroe....

Tips on when and how to wear them.

• Since it's black, you can wear it with any color and that's is why I went for a black color.
• You can wear it anywhere, anytime as long as you are comfortable with the size of the heel(Kendy is comfortable are you or will you?)
• When you want to have that sexy look, wear a pencil skirt...this shoes will make your legs appear longer.

 

Can you see the difference of having heels on and just wearing flat shoes?

The first picture, my legs appear shorter while the second picture, my legs appear longer... it's the same dress but a different look when paired with high heels...so, before meets after!!

 

• You can also wear a pencil trouser and pair it with this pair of shoe...this will totally make you look sexy and yeah...ya'll know what heels can do to a woman?the walking style is perfected-not unless you don't wear heels often, then your walking style will be horrible...so please, go for the right heel size.
• Ensure you have a good pedicure since the shoe is a peep toe...

Just like the above shoes, you can rock any outfit with this pair. Black is always the best color to go for.Very easy to pair and it being suede, just completes the look.

For me high heels is a must in a lady's wardrobe.No brainer!
